An experienced Physical Chemistry Post Graduate and a hardcore research person, Ghatpande has worked with various organizations, including S.C. Johnson Products, Lever Johnson Products, and Ion Exchange India (Ltd). He also holds a Diploma in Management studies, from University of Bombay and his stint includes managing business of transfer of technologies from South Korea and Germany. Presently he is pursuing Ph.D. in Synthetic chemistry. His career spans over 34 years & includes achievements in the fields of insecticides and water treatment, covering:

• Business development and launch of various products
• Expertise in regulatory affairs relating to registration of products
• Setting up of quality systems, etc.
